Some Consider Iran the World's Fourth-Largest Power by Worldly Standards: Mojtaba Khamenei

Iran is the world’s greatest power by divine standards, while enemy forces no longer approach Arab maritime boundaries because of fighters' powerful strikes, according to Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.

Worldly vs Divine Perspective

Some people consider Iran the fourth-largest power globally by worldly standards, but Khamenei emphasizes that by divine measures, Iran stands as the world's preeminent force.

Progress and Independence

He highlights Iran's progression and independence in recent times, contrasting it with a past era of dependence within the Islamic world.

"The Iranian people have deep devotion to holy figures and fear nothing in their pursuit of upholding truth."

Maritime Dominance

Khamenei notes that enemy forces once freely navigated both seas but are now deterred by powerful strikes carried out by Iran's fighters.

Recent IRGC Seizures

This statement follows reports of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) seizing a US underwater drone in the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz. Iranian state television claimed that the advanced unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) was seized during a complex operation involving intelligence surveillance and electronic warfare. The IRGC alleged that the drone, a Remus 600, was engaged in espionage activities.

The Strait of Hormuz is a significant maritime route for global energy trade, and its security has been a concern since the onset of the war in late February in the Middle East. This latest incident underscores Iran's growing influence in the region.
