SP Traffic Vows to Improve Traffic Flow
Quetta, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Sep, 2026) Superintendent of Police (SP) Traffic Quetta (Saddar), Syed Asim Shah, on Monday stated that effective measures are in place to enhance the city's traffic system, maintain flow, and address citizen difficulties, while also taking legal action against traffic law violators.
He emphasized that the top priority for the traffic police is providing a safe and organized travel environment for citizens. To achieve this, traffic personnel are being deployed at major highways, intersections, and busy locations, with actions taken against illegal parking, wrong-way driving, and other obstructions to traffic flow.
The SP Traffic appealed to citizens to abide by traffic laws while driving, ensure motorcyclists wear helmets, avoid using mobile phones during driving, adhere to speed limits, and refrain from illegal roadside parking.
Syed Asim Shah noted that complying with traffic laws is a shared responsibility between the traffic police and every citizen. He believed that through public cooperation, Quetta's traffic system can become more organized and secure. He also instructed traffic personnel to serve citizens with courtesy and perform their duties for maintaining traffic flow diligently and professionally.
