SPAL Ensures Cleanliness Along Eid Milad Procession
SPAL (Suthra Punjab Agency) has made significant arrangements for cleanliness during Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations and religious gatherings in Lahore.
Key Initiatives:
- Dedicated Workforce: More than 2,300 SPAL workers and officers were deployed across the city to maintain sanitation.
- Decorations & Hygiene: Procession routes and important roads were decorated with lime, and rose-scented water was sprayed along routes.
- Mosque Cleanliness: Over 1,500 Jamia mosques in Lahore were thoroughly cleaned before the celebrations.
- Waste Management: Special teams handled waste clearance at Milad gatherings, religious congregations, and other events.

Cleanliness operations focused on:
- Mall Road
- Jail Road
- Near District Courts
- Islam Pura
- Sanda
- Outfall Road
as well as the Walled City, Data Darbar, Milad Chowk, Circular Road, Sunehri Mosque, Bhati Gate, Delhi Gate, and other parts of Lahore.
