Speedboat Killer Jack Shepherd Jailed for Violent Attack
BBC News reports that Jack Shepherd, already serving a 10-year sentence for manslaughter, has been sentenced to one year and eight months in prison for assaulting his former partner and damaging property.
Shepherd, 38, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm at Isleworth Crown Court in July 2026. The incidents occurred in February and June last year, leading to his recall to prison.
The judge stated that the law does not allow him to add more time to Shepherd’s existing sentence, with his release expected in January 2029.
Shepherd’s history:
- In 2018, he was convicted of manslaughter over the death of Charlotte Brown during a speedboat crash on a first date.
- He was released on licence in January 2024 but faced recall to prison in September 2025 after allegations of violence against a woman.
- On Monday, he received a 20-month sentence with a further four years on extended license.
