Tottenham Transfer News: Spurs Agree £75m Deal to Sign Manchester City’s Savinho
BBC Sport reports that Tottenham have agreed a deal with Manchester City to sign winger Savinho for £75m, with an additional £10m in potential add-ons. Savinho, aged 22, will undergo a medical before signing a long-term contract with Spurs.
This move comes after a year of pursuit, with Tottenham failing to sign him last summer. Despite limited game time at City under Pep Guardiola, Savinho has now chosen to join Spurs.
The Brazilian’s arrival is part of a significant spending spree by Tottenham, having recently signed midfielders Mateus Fernandes from West Ham and Sandro Tonali from Newcastle. However, the club’s ambitions don’t stop there.
Sources indicate that talks are progressing positively for Savinho’s City team-mate Omar Marmoush. Tottenham also holds interest in Liverpool‘s Cody Gakpo but financial considerations might limit their ability to sign both players.
