SSP Conducts Surprise Visit To Lakhidar Police Station Shikarpur
SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Sep, 2026) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shikarpur, Muhammad Kaleem on Thursday conducted a surprise visit to Lakhidar Police Station and reviewed the overall functioning and arrangements.
According to the police spokesperson, the SSP inspected the police station’s official records, lock-up, building and other relevant facilities and thoroughly reviewed the arrangements. He also checked the condition and well-being of the culprits held in custody.
A walking machine has been provided at the lock-up to enhance the physical fitness and health of detainees.
Muhammad Kaleem emphasized on maintaining high cleanliness standards at the police station and appreciated SHO Bilal Laghari for his satisfactory efforts.
Speaking during the visit, the SSP urged the officers and personnel to ensure prompt redressal of public grievances and strengthen patrolling in their respective areas to offer citizens a sense of security. He stated:
"Police officers must ensure maximum possible relief to complainants and make the patrolling system more effective."
During the visit, Muhammad Kaleem extended his condolences to SHO Lakhidar Bilal Laghari on the death of his father and offered prayers for the departed soul.
