Stakeholders' Joint Efforts Imperative for Implementation of National Housing Policy 2025: Minister

Federal Minister for Housing and Works, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, emphasized on Monday the necessity of stakeholders' collaborative efforts for the successful implementation of the National Housing Policy 2025, aligning with the Prime Minister's vision.
He made these remarks at the policy's launching ceremony at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, in collaboration with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) on World Habitat Day.
The minister praised the contributions of all involved in shaping the policy, highlighting its extensive development through 24 years of consultation with relevant stakeholders.
Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada viewed the policy launch as a pivotal step to address the housing sector's challenges, reiterating the need for collective action from all institutions and stakeholders for its effective realization.
Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Dr. Musadik Masood Malik, along with educationists, researchers, housing sector representatives, and other stakeholders, attended the event.
Dr. Musadik Malik underscored the importance of environmentally conscious and sustainable housing projects in the face of climate change, acknowledging that the National Housing Policy offers a comprehensive framework for providing shelter to the homeless.
He encouraged the government, private sector, and all entities to harness available resources for the successful execution of the National Housing Policy.
