Suicide Attack on Dera Ismail Khan Check Post; 10 Police, Excise Officials Martyred, 32 Injured
Terrorists carried out a suicide attack targeting the Aman Mela check post in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan district, resulting in the martyrdom of 10 individuals, including police and Excise Department personnel, and injuries to 32 others.
According to reports, the incident unfolded in Dera Ismail Khan’s Darazinda tehsil when terrorists rammed an explosives-laden loader rickshaw into the Aman Mela check post building. The ensuing blast was so powerful that it caused the complete destruction of the structure.

Security forces and rescue teams swiftly arrived at the scene and initiated relief operations. The victims, both deceased and injured, were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Several critically wounded individuals were reported among the injured.
Security forces secured the area and launched an investigation into the attack while searching for the terrorists’ facilitators.
