Published August 25, 2026 | 05:30 AM ISTANBUL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 25th Aug, 2026) Türkiye’s Ministry of Trade revealed that the country’s exports to the 57 member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) touched $41.5 billion during the January–July 2026 period, marking a year-on-year surge of $345.7 million.
Total foreign trade volume between Türkiye and OIC nations climbed 2.2% over the same period compared to the preceding year, reaching $69.2 billion, underscoring the deepening commercial ties between Ankara and the Islamic world.
The Ministry attributed these achievements to the consistent implementation of its Strategy for Developing Exports with OIC Members, a plan integrated into the 2026–2028 Medium Term Programme.
Under this strategy, the aim is to elevate the share of OIC countries in Türkiye’s total exports from the current 27% to 30% by 2028.
