Tank Admin Holds Awareness Session on Rainwater Conservation

The district administration in Tank arranged an awareness session on rainwater conservation and reuse on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. According to officials, the session was held on the directives of the provincial government and Deputy Commissioner Tank, Jamshed Khan.
Teachers from across the district participated, learning about methods for collecting, filtering, storing, and reusing rainwater from officials from the Public Health Engineering Department. A model rainwater harvesting system was also installed at the school to provide practical insights into rainwater conservation and its efficient use.
The administration emphasized that rainwater harvesting is a crucial step towards:
- Reducing water wastage
- Optimizing available water resources
- Ensuring water security for future generations
