Tank Administration Extends Urea Fertilizer Ban For Another Month
PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 27, 2026) The district administration of Tank has extended the ban on the sale and transportation of urea fertilizer for another month under Section 144, citing public safety and law-and-order concerns.
According to the district administration, the purchase, sale, transportation, and storage of urea fertilizer will remain completely banned from August 27 to September 25. The notification states that this ban applies to dealers, traders, transporters, and all others involved in the fertilizer business.
The administration took this measure to prevent the illegal use of fertilizer and address security concerns. It also warned that strict legal action would be taken against anyone found violating the order.
