Tank administration seals petrol pump over violations

The district administration Tank has sealed a petrol pump located on the Tank-Dera Ismail Khan Road for violating safety and legal requirements, including:
- Non-availability of mandatory NOC and Form-K.
- Short measurement.
- Violation of OGRA-prescribed prices.
The crackdown was carried out on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Tank, Jamshed Khan, under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Tank, Malik Sajid Ali Khan, who inspected various petrol pumps in the district.
The Assistant Commissioner emphasized that the sale of petroleum products without the required legal documents, safety arrangements, and compliance with relevant laws would not be tolerated. He instructed petrol pump owners to immediately fulfill all legal and regulatory requirements, warning that strict legal action would be taken against violators.
The district administration stressed the protection of public life and property and the creation of a transparent business environment as its top priorities. It urged citizens to purchase petroleum products only from licensed and legal petrol pumps and to report illegal fuel agencies, short measurement, or overcharging to the administration.
