Taxila Police Bust Three-Member Gang, Recover Six Stolen Motorcycles
WAH CANTT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Aug, 2026) Taxila police on Monday claimed to have busted a three-member gang allegedly involved in street crime and motorcycle theft, recovering six stolen motorcycles and Rs195,000 in cash from their possession.
According to police, the suspects were arrested during a targeted crackdown launched against street crime and motorcycle theft in different areas of Taxila. The operation was conducted as part of intensified efforts to curb criminal activities and protect citizens and their property.
Police said the recovery of six stolen motorcycles and cash had provided important evidence against the arrested suspects. Investigators were conducting further inquiries to determine their alleged involvement in other criminal activities and identify any accomplices linked to the gang.
Police said the accused would be challaned before the relevant court after completion of the investigation and on the basis of evidence collected against them. Further legal proceedings would be initiated accordingly.
