The PTI MNA, Sher Afzal Khan Marwat, expressed his belief that there would be no clashes between workers and police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but political leaders would face arrests. He attributed this to the fact that the provincial government was no longer in control, evident from the imposition of Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) and Section 144.

Marwat noted that the long march, which should have attracted a crowd of 100,000 people, including Sohail Afridi, had only garnered around 150 to 200 participants. He criticized the PTI for its lack of preparation and changing strategies, initially announcing the march for the 27th and then shifting it to October 4th.

He stated that political leaders, such as Shaukat Yousafzai, would be arrested, and that the provincial government was no longer in their hands, as demonstrated by the imposition of MPO and Section 144. Marwat questioned the nature of the government under such circumstances.
