Three-member Dacoit Gang Busted, Rs.2.1m Recovered
Police on Friday busted a three-member dacoit gang and arrested its three members, who confessed to committing 41 crimes, including dacoities and thefts, in the jurisdiction of various police stations.
According to police, a team led by Lundianwala Police Station SHO Adeel Mustafa traced and arrested the accused identified as Shoaib, Afzal, and Shafqat Hayat. The police recovered illicit weapons and Rs. 2.1 million in cash from their possession.
The accused confessed to their involvement in 41 criminal activities, including dacoities and thefts. Police have initiated legal proceedings against the arrested outlaws.
