TMA Intensifies Cleanliness, Plantation, and Beautification Activities in DIKhan

The Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) in Dera Ismail Khan has accelerated its ongoing cleanliness, plantation, and beautification initiatives to enhance the urban landscape and provide citizens with pristine public spaces. These activities are guided by the directives of Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO) Abdul Rehman.
Plantation Drive:
As part of a campaign initiated by the Dera Development Authority to increase greenery, TMO Abdul Rehman, accompanied by Garden Supervisor Sunni Khan Chishti, inspected potential sites for plantation along Bannu Road. They meticulously evaluated locations and instructed staff to ensure timely planting. The TMO further emphasized proper care and maintenance of newly planted saplings to achieve the desired environmental benefits.
Cleanliness Campaigns:
The weekly cleanliness drive continued in various city parks, with sanitation and horticulture teams working tirelessly to improve public recreational areas. On the second day, Garden Supervisor Sunni Khan Chishti oversaw cleaning efforts in several parks, removing garbage, trimming vegetation, and enhancing overall aesthetics.
Special Operations:
Prioritizing the Cantonment area for September 6, Garden Supervisor Abdul Hameed Noor led a cleanliness operation near Midway Hotel. Teams diligently cleared garbage and debris, trimmed overgrown grass and bushes, significantly transforming the area's appearance.
Another significant action was taken by the TMA encroachment team, headed by Encroachment In-charge Fahad Khan Sadozai. They removed temporary encroachments from Grid Road to Qurtaba College, clearing the route for smoother traffic flow and warning individuals against future illegal occupations.
