Trade Delegation Leaves For Malaysia
Sialkot, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Aug, 2026) : A seven-member trade delegation from Sialkot has departed for Malaysia to explore new international markets for the city’s export products and strengthen trade ties with the foreign business community.
Talking to APP, Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) Departmental Committee on Fair and Exhibition, Chairman Qaiser Baig said that this was the Chamber’s third overseas trade delegation during August. Earlier, SCCI delegations visited South Africa and South Korea.
He stated that the Malaysia visit aimed to:
- Hold meetings with business leaders and importers.
- Explore new global markets for Sialkot’s products.
- Strengthen ties with international businesses.
- Boost Pakistani exports.
Qaiser Baig further emphasized that regularly sending trade delegations abroad was part of the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to expand international business connections.
During their visit, the delegation will:
- Hold meetings with Malaysian business leaders and institutions.
- Explore potential areas of cooperation.
- Identify new business opportunities for Sialkot’s industries.
The focus will be on promoting Sialkot’s export-oriented products, developing business-to-business contacts, and exploring avenues for increased trade between Pakistan and Malaysia.
