Traffic police conduct road safety awareness lecture for students

KHANEWAL, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Aug, 2026) District Traffic Police in Khanewal intensified efforts to promote road safety awareness among students and the general public in line with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision of “Safe Journey, Safe Punjab.”
Under the supervision of District Traffic Officer (DTO) Khanewal Muhammad Qaddafi, the education Unit of District Traffic Police organized a road safety awareness lecture at Government Model Higher Secondary school, Khanewal.
In-charge Education Unit Raja Hassan Mansoor delivered the lecture and emphasized key road safety measures such as:
- Wearing safety helmets
- Maintaining lane and line discipline
- Observing stop lines
- Following traffic laws
- Obtaining valid driving licences
He also discussed juvenile driving permits and stressed the importance of adhering to traffic rules for preventing accidents and saving lives.
Raja Hassan Mansoor highlighted the crucial role of traffic laws in ensuring road safety. The District Traffic Police is committed to promoting traffic discipline and providing safe journeys for all.
