Training on Sanitary Pad Making Held

A two-day training workshop on sanitary pad making for female community members concluded at the Loung Bhatti Center, District Sukkur, on Tuesday.
Facilitated by Samina Barkat, the training focused on:
- Developing practical skills in sanitary pad production
- Promoting menstrual hygiene awareness
- Empowering women to produce affordable and accessible sanitary products.
This initiative was supported by the Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) under the People’s Poverty Reduction Program (PPRP), funded by the Government of Sindh, aiming to generate income opportunities for working women.
The Senior District Manager, SRSO Sukkur, and the Regional Enterprise Development Officer visited the center during the training, interacting with participants and community members and observing the activities.
The two-day training concluded successfully, equipping participants with valuable knowledge and skills in sanitary pad production and menstrual hygiene management.
