Two Alleged Shooters Get Four-day Remand in TikToker Murder Case

WAH CANTT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Aug, 2026) A local court in Taxila on Monday granted police four-day physical remand of two alleged shooters arrested in connection with the targeted killing of popular TikToker Shamsu Bibi alias Ayesha Gilamana. Three other accused, including the victim’s father, brother and paternal uncle, were sent to Adiala Jail on 14-day judicial remand.

The two alleged shooters were produced before Area Magistrate Muhammad Asif Iqbal, where police sought their physical custody for further investigation into the August 14 killing. According to police, the suspects were allegedly involved in the firing that claimed the life of the 28-year-old social media personality in Taxila.

Investigators are probing the alleged conspiracy behind the attack and examining the suspected roles of those accused of planning and executing the killing. Police said they had earlier arrested five suspects, including Ayesha’s father and brother, following a major breakthrough in the investigation.

According to police, investigators reviewed footage from more than 100 CCTV cameras and used technical evidence and intelligence inputs to trace the alleged conspiracy and identify the suspects. Further investigation into the motive and roles of the accused is underway.
