Two Arrested, Liquor, Rifle Seized in Gujrat
UrduPoint reports that on August 24, 2026, police conducted an operation against drug peddlers and illegal weapons in Gujrat.
As a result:
- Two suspects were arrested.
- 50 bottles of liquor were recovered from one suspect.
- A rifle and ammunition were seized from the other suspect.
Police identified the suspects as Asif of Jalalpur Jattan and Saidi Ahmed of Faisalabad (currently residing in Jalalpur Jattan). Cases have been registered against them, and further investigation is underway.
