Two Held With Weapons In Paniala Search Operation
The Dera police have arrested two men allegedly involved in an attempted murder case and recovered three weapons and ammunition during a search and strike operation conducted in the limits of Paniala police station on Thursday.
The operation was supervised by Superintendent of Police Paharpur Division Iqbal Khan Baloch and led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Paniala Sardar Alamgir Khan along with Station House Officer Asghar Khan Wazir.
The arrested suspects were identified as Adnan son of Abdullah and Muhammad Mehran son of Niaz Mohammad, both residents of Paniala. The police recovered a Kalashnikov with 10 rounds, a 12-bore repeater with three rounds and a pistol with five rounds from their possession.
The suspects were taken into custody and further investigation was underway.
DSP Sardar Alamgir Khan stated that the police action against criminals would be continued without discrimination, emphasizing that maintaining peace in the area was a top priority for the police.
