Two Milad-un-Nabi Processions Held
PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Aug, 2026) Two religious organizations, Dawat-e-Islami and Tehreek-e-Ishq Mustafa, carried out separate Milad-un-Nabi processions on Wednesday morning with immense religious zeal.
Procession Routes
The first procession emerged from Gulberg and passed through various areas of Cantonment, including Nothia, Sonehri Masjid Road, Saddar Bazar, Liaqat Bazar, and Mall Road.
The second procession, led by Syed Inayat Shah, departed from Milad House in Gulbahar and marched through several localities, including Shiekhabad, Lahori, Nishtarabad, and Hashtnagri.
Festivities and Participation
Children joined Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) processions in large numbers, while faithful recited Naats and held banners displaying congratulatory messages. Citizens also distributed free food among participants.
All routes, streets, and roads, including bazaars, shopping centers, and both public and private buildings, were beautifully decorated with multicolored lights and banners celebrating the birth of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Tributes to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
Leading ulema and religious scholars paid glorious tributes to Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). They stated that success of the Muslim Ummah lies in implementing the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), adding that following his preachings serves as a source of enlightenment for Muslims worldwide.
