Two Wheelie Doers Arrested

City Traffic Police (CTPL) in Lahore launched a crackdown against one-wheeling and arrested two young motorcyclists involved in this life-threatening practice on Wednesday.
According to Lahore Traffic Police, DSP Township Traffic Fayyaz Bhatti conducted a combing operation and apprehended Mujeeb and Abdullah, who were alleged one-wheelers. Other members of the group managed to escape. The DSP personally chased the suspects on a motorcycle and caught them during the operation, the police stated.
Multiple videos showing one-wheeling, road rage, and hooliganism were also recovered from the mobile phones of the arrested suspects, according to the police.
Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects, and further legal action is underway.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi emphasized that one-wheeling, reckless driving, and overspeeding would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He urged parents to steer their children away from such dangerous activities and stressed the need for greater awareness among young motorcyclists to prioritize road safety.
