UK drone factories may face attacks from 'unknown sources', says Kremlin advisor

Andrei Fedorov, an adviser to the Kremlin, has suggested that UK drone factories could be targeted by "semi-military" responses from "unknown sources" due to the sharing of military blueprints with Russia.
His remarks on BBC Newsnight come as UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham plans to travel to the US next month alongside European leaders to urge President Trump to support Ukraine's defence needs.
In an interview with Bloomberg, Burnham stated his intention to attend the UN General Assembly in September. He expressed confidence in resolving the issue of Patriot missile supplies for Ukraine, a critical concern as Russia intensifies its attacks on energy infrastructure ahead of winter.
Fedorov, formerly Russia's deputy foreign minister, attributed pressure on Putin to "public opinion polls, [and] mass media." When asked about potential semi-military responses, he specified: "They could be attacked not by Russia, but by from unknown sources".
His comments align with those of Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, who criticized the UK's decision to share missile blueprints, claiming it hinders peace efforts.
Burnham responded to these remarks by questioning who started the conflict.
Fedorov's statements highlight growing tensions as the war in Ukraine continues.
