Ukrainians Dying Due to US Intelligence Sharing Restrictions, Says Zelensky Adviser

BBC News reports that Ukrainians are losing their lives because of US restrictions on intelligence sharing, according to Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, a key adviser to President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Beskrestnov states that there has been a lack of time to warn citizens about incoming missile strikes due to incomplete and inconsistent US intelligence, resulting in deaths. He emphasizes the danger and criticizes the situation, saying, "It's dangerous... I think it's really very bad... People [have] already died."

The adviser also highlights ongoing restrictions on Ukraine's use of the Starlink internet network, which is crucial for military communications and drone operations. He suggests that these issues are deliberate pressure tactics from the US, encouraging Ukraine to negotiate with Russia.

Despite initial denials from the White House, Ukraine has faced interruptions in US intelligence sharing, especially during a dispute over Russian oil imports. Zelensky recently experienced two ballistic missile attacks, one without warning, underscoring the critical nature of the intelligence gap.

Beskrestnov clarifies that while collaboration continues in other areas, the issue lies with the air raid alert system. He urges clarity from the US regarding the restrictions on Starlink, particularly its military service Starshield, which has limited Ukraine's counter-drone capabilities.
