UN Reports 47 Killed, 22 Injured In Overnight Gang Attack Near Port-au-Prince

According to the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti, at least 47 people were killed and 22 more injured in an overnight gang raid on a neighborhood overlooking Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince. The attack, which took place in the hillside community of Kenscoff, is the latest in a series of brutal assaults by armed gangs, forcing thousands to flee their homes.

The U.N. Office stated that estimates could still change. The repeated attacks have sparked anger over the lack of protection from these deadly incidents.
