Unique Museum in Upper Dir Showcases 200-Year-Old Artifacts

According to the locals on Monday, the museum houses a collection of ancient and rare items, including traditional agricultural tools, weapons and military equipment, household objects, and other historical artifacts that reflect the region’s traditional lifestyle and heritage.
Local residents said the museum was established to introduce younger generations to their culture, traditions, and the way of life of their ancestors while preserving the area’s historical heritage. Residents of Malik Khwar have invited tourists and history enthusiasts to visit the museum free of charge and explore the artifacts that offer a glimpse into the region’s past.
A visitor noted that seeing the ancient tools and artifacts provided an opportunity to learn about life in earlier times and the region’s traditional civilization.
The locals expressed their intention to expand the museum and preserve more historical artifacts from the surrounding areas in the future.
