Unwholesome Meat Seized
FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - September 3, 2026) | The Livestock department seized 800kg of unwholesome meat from a vehicle near Aminpur Interchange in the limits of Sandal Bar police station.
Official sources said, Deputy Director Livestock Dr. Sohail Ahmed Anjum, Dr. Farhan Siddiq, Senior Veterinary Officer/Superintendent Slaughterhouse Madanpura, took action after receiving information from Punjab Food Authority and Motorway Police. They recovered the meat from a vehicle (MLC-3400).
After a veterinary inspection, the meat was declared unhealthy and unfit for human consumption, and it was discarded as per law and prescribed procedure.
