University of Gujrat (UoG) Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahoor-ul-Haq chaired a meeting of deans, chairpersons, directors, heads of departments, and members of the Admissions Committee to review admission progress in various academic departments.

- Measures to attract academically promising and meritorious students
The Vice Chancellor emphasized that the university’s priority was quality admissions over quantity, stating that capable and motivated students are essential for strengthening the academic environment and fostering research and innovation. He instructed department heads to adopt effective approaches to attract meritorious students and highlight the university’s academic programs, research opportunities, and faculty expertise.
Prof. Zahoor-ul-Haq also stressed transparency, merit, and academic standards throughout the admission process, directing officials to facilitate prospective students and their parents.
The meeting additionally reviewed upcoming advertisements for the recruitment of Associate Professors and Professors and discussed measures to further enhance the admission process.
