US oil and gas output reaches record levels, solidifying its position as the world’s top energy producer.
US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright announced on Saturday that the United States has achieved record milestones in oil and gas production, securing its place as the global leader in both crude oil and natural gas production.
In a post on the X platform, Wright stated, "The US oil and gas sector has reached unprecedented levels, establishing the nation as the top global producer of both crude oil and natural gas."
He added that President Donald Trump‘s energy agenda will build upon this success to unleash American energy potential, strengthen the economy, and lower costs for consumers.
