US Trade Delegation Visits Quaid-e-Azam Museum

A trade delegation from Houston, Texas, USA, paid a special visit to the Quaid-e-Azam Museum (also known as Flagstaff House) in Karachi. The historic site offered them a chance to delve into Pakistan’s history and gain insights into the personal life of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Welcome by Commodore Malik Sadeed, Secretary General of Quaid-e-Azam House Museum, marked the beginning of their visit. Executive Secretary Iram Fawad then provided an overview of the museum’s history and significance.
During their tour, the delegation examined historical documents, personal belongings, rare photographs, and original items belonging to Quaid-e-Azam. They expressed that this experience went beyond a typical museum visit, offering an emotional and informative glimpse into Pakistan’s national history and founding principles.
According to the visitors, such historical sites play a crucial role in helping younger generations understand the country’s journey and the sacrifices made for its creation. Mahmood Ahmed Khan noted that Quaid-e-Azam’s modest yet dignified lifestyle remains an enduring example, especially for the youth.
The museum's collection, including Quaid-e-Azam’s car, furniture, rare books, and gifts, garnered significant interest. The delegation appreciated the well-maintained environment, which they believed would be valuable for students and history enthusiasts.
