WAPDA Wins Women’s Title at National Gymnastics Championship
LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - September 8, 2026) | In a landmark achievement, WAPDA has completed a historic double by winning the Women’s Champions Trophy at the 3rd National Women’s Gymnastics Championship, two days after retaining the Men’s National Title.
This marks the first time in history that the WAPDA Women’s Gymnastics Team has won the National Championship, according to a WAPDA spokesman here on Tuesday.
WAPDA Women’s Team topped the overall points table with a dominant performance, securing 3 Gold and 4 Bronze Medals.
Pakistan Army finished as runners-up.
A total of six teams participated in the Championship, including WAPDA, Pakistan Army, Pakistan Railways, Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan.
