Wazirabad Press Club Delegation Visits Information Ministry’s Digital Wing
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - September 18, 2026) A delegation from the Wazirabad Press Club visited the Digital Communication Department (DCD) of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. They were briefed on the department's functions, its work scope, and ongoing initiatives.
Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar told the delegation that digital platforms have become crucial for providing timely information to the public and effective communication. He highlighted that countering misleading content, propaganda, and negative campaigns is a top priority for the DCD.
