A woman was shot dead allegedly over a dispute in the jurisdiction of a local police station.
According to police, the victim, Tahira Bibi, had gone to her neighbour’s house in Basti Tibba Shah Yaqoob to collect some stitched clothes. As she returned home, the accused, identified as Hafeez, allegedly opened fire on her, leaving her critically injured. She succumbed to her wounds on the spot.
The accused fled the scene after committing the crime. Police registered a case and launched a search operation to arrest the suspect.
