Youth Internship Programme Concludes in Gujrat
GUJRAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th Aug, 2026) The 21st batch of the six-week Punjab Police Youth Internship Programme concluded in Gujrat, with certificates and badges distributed among students.
According to an official source, a ceremony was held at the DPO Complex Gujrat, where SP Investigation Hafiz Imtiaz Ahmed, Inspector Farzana Kausar, Sub-Inspector Abdul Wahab Gilani and other police officers attended.
During the internship, students were briefed about various aspects of policing, including:
- The functioning of the DPO Complex, police stations, IT Wing, law and order, cybercrime, traffic laws,
- Women safety, child abuse prevention, Khidmat Markaz, Tahaffuz Markaz, Meesaq Centre, and Gujrat Safe City Authority.
Addressing the interns, SP Investigation Hafiz Imtiaz Ahmed highlighted the programme’s aim to promote public-oriented police services and strengthen community policing. He emphasized efforts to improve public service delivery and bridge the gap between the police and citizens.
