Zero-tolerance Policy On Teacher Absenteeism, Immediate Infrastructure Repair Ordered in Murree Schools
MURREE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Sep, 2026) Murree authorities have adopted a zero-tolerance policy against teacher absenteeism and ordered the immediate resolution of dilapidated school infrastructure across the district to ensure quality education standards.
Deputy Commissioner Murree, Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, issued the directives while addressing an emergency performance review meeting of the Education Department, emphasizing that providing quality learning environments remains a top government priority and no negligence will be tolerated.
Under the new directives, district educational officers must implement strict monitoring mechanisms to ensure 100 percent attendance among teaching staff. He also called on teachers to focus specially on the character building and moral development of students along with standard academics.
The meeting focused extensively on fixing structural deficiencies in public school buildings, with relevant officers instructed to initiate urgent repair works without delay. The review meeting attended by senior officials from the district education department, school heads and administrative staff.
