Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the UK, are among the countries imposing or supporting trade restrictions on products from illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.
In a joint statement, these nations expressed that Israel’s actions in the West Bank undermine prospects for a two-state solution. They pledged to:
- Implement national restrictions on trade with the settlements (which are deemed illegal under international law).
- Support European sanctions against goods from these settlements.
