17 Development Schemes Approved in Lahore Division

LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – September 15, 2026) Divisional Development Working Committee (DDWC), chaired by Commissioner Lahore Division, Noman Yousaf, approved 17 development schemes on Tuesday. These included proposals from WASA and Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL).
Approved Schemes:
- WASA: Seven proposals for purchasing wastewater pumps for disposal stations in various towns of Lahore.
- MCL: Eight schemes for the rehabilitation of internal roads within the city, following an on-source mechanism.
Commissioner Noman Yousaf emphasized the importance of development and municipal services, aligning with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif. He directed officers to adhere to timelines and maintain quality standards during implementation.
