Governor KP Pays Tribute to Murtaza Bhutto On 30th Martyrdom Anniversary
PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - September 20, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday paid rich tribute to Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto on his 30th martyrdom anniversary.
He stated that Mir Murtaza Bhutto carried forward the democratic vision of Shaheed Quaid-e-Awam Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and remained steadfast in the struggle for the supremacy of the Constitution and the rights of the people.
In a statement, the Governor described the late leader as:

He further added that Mir Murtaza Bhutto upheld the flag of democracy during periods of dictatorship and courageously fought against authoritarian forces for the restoration of democratic rights.
Governor Kundi asserted that the killing of Mir Murtaza Bhutto was a deep conspiracy against the Bhutto family, adding that their sacrifices for democracy remain an unforgettable chapter in Pakistan's political history.
He expressed that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would always remember the martyrs' sacrifices and stay committed to the principles of democracy, constitutional supremacy, and protection of fundamental rights.
According to Kundi, Mir Murtaza Bhutto's struggle and sacrifices will continue to inspire future generations striving for democratic values.
