3-day Youth Program Of BMUN Launched To Empower Youth Of Balochistan
UrduPoint (August 21, 2026) – On the directive of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, a three-day youth program of Balochistan Model United Nations (BMUN) has been launched on Friday in collaboration with Balochistan Board of Investment (BBOIT). The initiative aims to empower youth in the province, enhance their leadership skills, and prepare them for modern-day challenges.
The event is taking place at Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS). It offers students a platform to voice their opinions, engage in discussions, and propose solutions to national and global issues.
Chief Executive Officer of Balochistan Board of Investment, Qaim Lashari, emphasized the importance of youth as Balochistan’s future and most valuable asset. He stated that to face present-day challenges, young people need modern skills, positive thinking, leadership abilities, and business awareness. BBOIT, he promised, would offer full support to convert youth talents into economic opportunities.
Lashari highlighted the significance of programs like BMUN in fostering leadership, research, dialogue, decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among young individuals. He praised the Balochistan government’s efforts under Chief Minister Bugti to involve youth actively in the development process. The Balochistan Investment Board, he assured, will continue its dedication to nurturing entrepreneurial skills and economic independence among youth.
