4 Arrested In Crackdown On Sale Of Unhygienic Minced Meat
PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 7th Sep, 2026) The district administration on Monday intensified its crackdown on the preparation and sale of unhygienic and substandard minced meat, arresting four people during an operation on Dalazak Road.
Acting on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Peshawar Sanaullah Khan, Additional Assistant Commissioner Faqirabad conducted a raid against a group allegedly preparing and selling minced meat using unhygienic meat, chemicals, and animal remains.
The officials arrested four suspects and seized the contaminated meat and minced meat.
The DC deputy directed district administration officials to continue indiscriminate action against elements endangering public health. He ordered strict legal action against those involved in the preparation and sale of unhygienic meat and other substandard food items.
The DC also urged citizens to promptly report the sale of unsafe or substandard meat and other food products to the administration so that immediate action could be taken.
