Abbottabad Administration moves to address road damage and safety hazards on Mochi Dhara Road. Following directives from Deputy Commissioner, Sarmad Saleem Akram, Additional Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Tariq inspected the town’s road and noted significant cracks and a damaged retaining wall.
Keeping public safety and traffic flow in mind, the issue was escalated to the Director General GDA and Deputy Director PKHA. The contractor and staff were instructed to immediately repair the retaining wall. During the inspection, a hazardous electricity pole at risk of collapse was also identified, leading to directions for HAZECO to take immediate safety measures.
The district administration assured timely actions to protect residents, ensure smooth traffic, and enhance civic infrastructure in Abbottabad.
