Abbottabad Traffic Police Launches Special Crackdown
Abbottabad Traffic Police launched a special operation against substandard LPG cylinders, pressure horns, vehicles without number plates, flashlights, unnecessary stickers, and unauthorized vehicle decorations, on the directions of SSP Traffic Muhammad Ishtiaq Khan.
The operation, conducted in collaboration with Motor Vehicle Examiner Bilal Khan, resulted in the checking of various vehicles and the identification of traffic rule violations. Drivers were educated on the importance of adhering to traffic laws and removing voluntary modifications from their vehicles.
The Traffic Police appealed to citizens to cooperate with the campaign, emphasizing that unnecessary pressure horns cause disturbance, particularly affecting the elderly, children, and patients. They stressed the public's cooperation as essential for ensuring safer travel, a peaceful environment, and an improved traffic management system.
