AC Reviews Cleanliness Drive, Dismisses Supervisor Over Negligence
SIALKOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Sep, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Sambrial Chaudhry Adnan Bashir Waraich reviewed the ongoing cleanliness operations in different areas under the Suthra Punjab Programme and inspected the performance of sanitation staff.
According to a spokesperson, during the inspection, several supervisors were warned over poor performance, while the Dhanawali supervisor was dismissed from service for negligence and lack of interest in his duties. The assistant commissioner directed officials to make the sanitation system more effective and ensure timely resolution of citizens’ complaints. He warned that strict disciplinary action would be taken against employees showing negligence or lack of interest in their duties.
He also urged citizens to dispose of waste at designated Suthra Punjab collection points instead of throwing it on roads and streets, and cooperate with the administration in maintaining a clean environment.
