Sharif stated that the Punjab government is fully committed to upholding transparency, accountability, and citizens' fundamental right to information. She noted that ensuring transparency and holding institutions accountable are top priorities. Furthermore, she believed that easy access to information empowers citizens, strengthens public trust, and promotes good governance.
The Chief Minister highlighted modern technology's role in providing immediate and accessible government information, stating that the Punjab Government is working towards delivering services at citizens' doorsteps through its Digital Punjab initiative. This, she believes, will lead to a more informed populace capable of making better decisions for a stronger society.
