ADCMS Reviews Cleanliness Situation In City

Additional Deputy Commissioner Municipal Services Muhammad Atif Sindhu visited different areas of the city on Sunday and reviewed the situation after the ongoing cleanliness operation under Suthra Punjab. He made a surprise visit to Sulemanpura, Babu Mohalla, Hameed Town, Backside of Hilal Ahmar Hospital, Istiqlalabad, Quaid-e-Azam Colony, Old Civil Line, and Luck Colony, among other urban areas.
Sindhu reviewed the post-cleaning situation at various locations, timely collection of garbage from streets and roads, and overall cleaning arrangements. He also took direct feedback from citizens regarding cleanliness, inquired about the cleanliness situation in different areas, and understood the garbage collection process and challenges faced.
He instructed the officers of the Suthra Punjab Agency to immediately address citizen complaints and suggestions and maintain cleanliness standards at all costs. He emphasized continuous monitoring of the cleanliness operation and ensuring redressal of citizen complaints.
The ADCMS clarified that negligence or laxity in cleanliness matters would not be tolerated. He affirmed that along with monitoring, addressing citizen concerns would also be a priority.
