ADCR Reviews Drainage Arrangements at Railway Station
ADCR (Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue) Waqas Safdar Sikandri visited the railway station and reviewed arrangements for the drainage of rainwater following recent rainfall.
According to railway officials, one railway track remained operational while minor water accumulation was reported on the other. The accumulated water was expected to be cleared within a few hours. They attributed the issue to a blocked sewerage drain in front of the railway line.
The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) was directed to immediately desilt the drain and restore the drainage system to prevent future occurrences.
