Additional IGP Karachi Praises Police for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) Security
KARACHI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th Aug, 2026) Additional Inspector General of Police Karachi, Azad Khan, on Wednesday praised Karachi Police and Traffic Police officers for their effective security and traffic arrangements during the main 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal procession.
He commended them for their close coordination, professionalism, and strong sense of responsibility, which ensured the peaceful and safe conclusion of the main procession. Azad Khan appreciated the efforts of all officers and personnel deployed for security and traffic management, highlighting their coordinated performance as key to maintaining law and order and facilitating the smooth movement of participants and commuters.
He assured that Karachi Police would continue to fulfill its responsibilities with dedication and professionalism, protecting citizens’ lives and property and ensuring peaceful religious gatherings across the city.
According to a Karachi Police spokesperson, comprehensive security and traffic arrangements contributed to maintaining a safe and peaceful environment throughout the main procession.
