A video has emerged showing alleged irresponsible and arrogant conduct by staff at a Bank of Punjab branch, in which a bank officer is reportedly seen misbehaving openly with a customer and threatening to stop his legitimate work.

The video is said to have been recorded at a Bank of Punjab branch in Gujranwala. According to the viral footage, a citizen was present at the bank counter to have his work completed when a bank officer angrily approached him and berated him in front of the counter staff.

“Get up, come outside and sit there,” the bank officer is heard saying. The citizen replied, “I am not going outside; I have come here to get my work done.” The officer then said, “If you want to get your work done, go outside and sit there.”

The situation reportedly worsened when the bank officer accused the customer of being rude. The citizen immediately replied, "Who is being rude—you or me? You are the one being rude."

The officer then allegedly issued strict instructions to the remaining counter staff, telling them, “No work should be done for this citizen.”

He allegedly told the citizen arrogantly, "Go and complain wherever you want. If anyone handles your work today, then say so." The citizen replied, "Why should I complain? Complete my legitimate work and I will leave."
